I’ve chosen this news because blockchain is expected to create a change similar to the one that happened when internet was crated for everyone’s use.
This news says that Peter Gabriel and other famous people are investing in blockchains start-ups. It also says that blockchain will be revolutionary and progressist such as the music group Genesis.
Peter Gabriel has invested in Provenance, a start-up that as they say in their website, will allow consumers the security to know that every physical product has a digital history, allowing consumers to trace and verify its origins, attributes and ownership.
REFLECTION:
This news made me think that if hey say that blockchain will produce such an important change in our every-day lives as it did the internet, how is our future going to be? What things will change that much? I can’t imagine how life was without the internet because I’ve always lived with it and because everything I do is using the internet. Internet changed our day-to-day lives, nowadays, we work using the internet, we study using the internet, we play and have fun using the internet…
If blockchain changes our lives the way the internet did I can’t imagine what the future will be like. I know that blockchain will probably substitute currencies, banks, notaries, healthcare, ownerships etc. but it still blows my mind.
